Route
Departing from the Launceston Rugby Union Club (Home Point Parade), the route begins with a roll across the Paterson Street Bridge, offering early views of the Cataract Gorge and Tamar River. From there, riders head along the West Tamar Highway (A7) to Legana, before climbing toward Bridgenorth (C732) and continuing on to Glengarry via the Frankford Highway (B71).
The course pushes north through Flowery Gully and into the historic town of Beaconsfield, where the first refreshment and toilet stop awaits at the Beaconsfield Recreation Ground. After a break, the ride continues over Goaty Hill through Kayena, before passing under the Batman Bridge and rejoining the river at Deviot Road (C728).
Riders then climb through Gravelly Beach and Blackwall Hill before reconnecting with the highway at Lanena. The final stretch follows the scenic Rosevears Drive (C733), with another refreshment stop at the Rosevears Recreation Ground, before tackling the Muddy Creek Hill climb.
From there, the course flows south through Riverside, crossing the Paterson Street Bridge once again, and finishing at the Launceston Rugby Union Club—where well-earned rest, refreshments, and camaraderie await.
